BTS member Jin has achieved unprecedented success during his groundbreaking solo tour, becoming the first Korean solo artist to grace the front pages of Japan's five major sports newspapers simultaneously. The 31-year-old performer's #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR has captivated audiences across Asia, with his Japan concerts generating extraordinary media coverage and fan response.
Sports Nippon, Daily Sports, Ilgan Sports, Sports Hochi, and Sankei Sports all featured Jin's fan concert tour on their front pages following his sold-out performances at Kyocera Dome Osaka on July 12-13. The historic newspaper coverage led to remarkable sales, with publications selling out at convenience stores near the venue as fans rushed to purchase commemorative copies.
Record-Breaking Japan Tour Success
Jin's solo tour achievements in Japan have set new benchmarks for Korean artists. His concerts at Kyocera Dome Osaka sold out all seats, including the rarely-opened 8th floor and restricted view areas - a feat that surprised even seasoned Japanese concertgoers. The overwhelming demand prompted additional restricted view seat sales, demonstrating Jin's exceptional drawing power.

The tour's success extends beyond live performances. Jin's latest single "Don't Say You Love Me" from his second solo album "Echo" has dominated Spotify Japan's Top Song chart for an impressive 41 consecutive days, setting the longest-running number one record for a K-pop male solo artist in Japanese chart history.
Global Chart Dominance and World Tour Plans
Jin's chart success spans multiple territories, with "Don't Say You Love Me" topping Spotify's Global chart in May 2025, making him the first Asian artist to achieve this milestone in 2025. The track joins an elite group of only four songs by Asian artists to simultaneously top Spotify's Global, Korean, and Japanese charts.
