One of the main points of the newest episode of the popular South Korean drama Cheongdam International High School 2 is the deepening feud between Lee Eun-sam and Jang Sung-yoon. Directed by Im Dae-woong and Park Hyung-won and written by Kwak Young-im, episode 7 goes to the core of a highly-emotional battle due to lies, blackmail, and a secret agenda. As the conflict goes deeper, Kim Hae-in (the character played by Jang Sung-yoon) meets a terrible example of coercion from the side of Min Yul-hee, who exploits an inappropriate past video to get her to do whatever she wants. Under duress, Hae-in hides illegal drugs in Baek Je-na’s locker, which leads to Je-na’s positive drug test and, at the same time, the characters’ conflicts are aggravated and the plot is continued in an accelerated manner expressing the powerful intensity.

As the tension is getting high, Hae-in bursts into a heated conversation with Kim Hye-in, Lee Eun-sam's character, and unfortunately reveals her deep-seated frustration. The scene itself is a splendid portrayal of deep emotions by means of the actors' subtle performances: Hae-in's reticent and resentful look is juxtaposed with Hye-in's anxious and bewildered reaction, and gives the audience an engaging experience. This quarrel is not only an outburst of rage but also it brings to light a hidden problem and an exciting question from Hae-in that has the potential to change their relationship in a major way. The love-hate dynamics and personal clashes in the primary characters have gradually been the big draw of the show, driving the public into a plot which is full of mystery and thriller elements.

Fans who are eagerly waiting for the next happenings will be pleased with the launch schedule of episodes 7 and 8 of Cheongdam International High School 2. Namely, the episodes are to be released on July 24th at 5 PM and July 25th at 5 PM, respectively, both on the most major local over-the-top media services like Netflix, Wavve, and Tving. Furthermore, it is admitted that the full-fledged channel MBN is starting the hybrid broadcast on the normal TV platform at 12:10 AM, particularly on the second day, July 25th. The decision of a hybrid release is like a trump card played at the right time: the audience can hardly be closer to the drama and the movement of the story can be spread through the platforms quickly and fluently.

Cheongdam International High School 2 keeps on venturing into the issues of power disputes, trust, and betrayal in the context of a very competitive school. The plot of the latest part can be described as a combination of suspense and the characters' depth; such a formula not only serves as a perfect treat for the current viewers but also proves to be a good hook for the new ones, who are into highly dramatic and storytelling movies. It is observable that as the episodes go by, the strong impact of Lee Eun-sam and Jang Sung-yoon’s characters, the main driving force of the show, gets even more prominent, thus awakening the expectation of more twists and increase in the level of emotions in the subsequent parts.
