Two Korean entertainment stars On Joo-wan & Bang Min-ah are engaging plenty of public curiosity with their November wedding and relationship. They have been releasing a music project they collaborated on, and recently the actor appeared on his fiancée's YouTube channel in a behind the scenes video where he was working on lighting while she sang "Golden," the song from the Netflix animated series K-Pop Demon Hunters. Bang Min-ah, who was in the successful girl group Girl's Day, regained notoriety for her singing with the recording, and described the unexpected thrill of returning to music for the first time since taking a break from performing.

The couple's relationship began in 2016 when both were cast together in the SBS drama "The Beauty Inside" which eventually blossomed on stage in the musical "The Days." Their romance only got stronger from there with On Joo-wan providing emotional support through trying times such as being at Bang Min-ah's side during her father's funeral; that being said, it was evident that the two had a close bond given they took the time to develop their relationship outside of acting through meetings and dates, to where it eventually developed into an engagement announcement that has brightened the hearts of fans not just in the South Korean entertainment industry, but also around the world!
Both SM C&C, representing Bang Min-ah, and Haewadal Entertainment (On Joo-wan) confirmed the wedding plans in official statements. The agencies emphasized that the couple has developed a serious romantic relationship from long-term friends and have now determine the next step of marriage this coming November. The plan is very small and intimate, with only immediate family and very close relatives being there to witness the ceremony. They felt that this was the best way to do it given the relationship and what they are both doing. While the couple is well-known public figures, they also wanted to keep some parts of their lives private.
This marriage is a major accomplishment in both performers' lives—Min-ah is now the second member of Girl's Day to marry. The first being eldest member Sojin, who was married just months earlier, in November 2023, to actor Lee Dong-ha. There is a ten-year age difference between the couple that couples were born in 1993, but they have a common background in Korea's merging entertainment, so I believe they have a solid foundation for their partnership. Their family, friends, fans, and industry colleagues are sending kind wishes for their future together, as the couple is now going to be living away from the public eye, married.
