The promising K-pop girl band STAYC was honored with the highly prestigious CF Star Rookie of the Year Award at the 2025 MTN Broadcasting Advertisement Festival and thus thus marked their named promotional activities in the consumer advertising sector of South Korea that are getting their influence across. The event was held at the KBIZ Hall of the Korea Federation of SMEs in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, where the six-member band was recognized for their special performance in the area of Korean commercial films.

During their acceptance speech, the present STAYC members expressed their thankfulness in words that this was "an honor" to them and also emphasized the group's diversity, thus praising it as the group of so many charms. The boys touched upon the issues of their being "cool and innocent" at the same time, pointedly saying that advertisers and the audience are definitely getting the message, and the reaction to that statement from fans and the industry was positive. Although Sieun and Sumin did not go to the award service, they provided a video to show their appreciation to fans and industry professionals for the significant recognition.

MTN Broadcasting Advertisement Festival, which is currently in its 17th year, is a great place where Korea's advertising culture and the innovations can be celebrated. Also, it is the festival which emerges the new talents and a hub for connecting them with major brands. High Up Entertainment introduced STAYC last November and the number of their fans in the music industry and commercial sector have been growing with lightning speed. STAYC has also followed in the footsteps of previous rookie award winners like MOMOLAND and LOONA.

Their popularity has been given a fillip by not only the first endorsement deal of ŠTAYC, but also their future prospects in the industry will be even brighter if this goes on. The award reflects and rewards the turn of the times in K-pop, where bands who have not only been entertaining their audience with music for years now also take other commercial steps like entering a partnership deal to become successful. Furthermore, it is not just the power of the young advertising market in Korea but it is the power of popular bands to be successful brand representatives, that the world can learn from as well, which also should be taken into account.
